"It's bittersweet to leave the city and community that have meant so much to me," she says. "UB has been a cornerstone of my life — for the education I received as well as the network, friendships and community it gave me." Bommidi's career in Buffalo included four years with the VA Medical Center and more than a decade at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, most recently as senior executive director and chief operating officer of RPCI Oncology PC. A loyal alumna, she will continue to lead the School of Management Alumni Association as its president and serve on the Dean's Advisory Council. "Serving on the SOMAA board for more than a decade has been one of the most meaningful ways I've stayed connected to the School of Management," she says. "I look forward to continuing to work to strengthen our alumni community and support the School of Management and UB, no matter the distance."
