Marc Ginsky, BS '85, was appointed executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, where he will oversee the organization's daily operations with a focus on field management, information technology and infrastructure. The foundation is the world leader in the search for a cure to cystic fibrosis, a progressive, genetic disease that causes persistent lung infections and limits a patient's ability to breathe over time. In the foundation's 61-year history, scientists have identified gene mutations that cause CF and have a pipeline of potential therapies to target the disease from every angle. Ginsky brings more than 18 years of health care industry experience to the organization, having most recently served as vice president and general manager of the Market Access Services division at Covance, a contract research organization and drug develop- ment company. Originally from Syracuse, Ginsky earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from the School of Management. He also holds an MBA from New York University's Leonard N. Stern School of Busi- ness and a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Alumni Spotlight: Marc Ginsky, BS '85 Scott A. Bylewski, BS/ MBA '95, was named manager, counsel at William Mattar. Carol Latona, MBA '95, was promoted to director of nursing operations at Mercy Hospital of Buffalo. Barry Stelmach, BS '95, was promoted to chief financial officer at Catholic Medical Partners. Ann Boyd, MBA '97, was promoted to director, component desserts marketing of the In-Store Bakery Division at Rich Products Corp. Jill Ervin, MBA '98, CPA, was appointed chief financial officer at Palladian Health. Jennifer A. Beckage, BS '99, was named partner at Phillips Lytle. 2000s Michael Barone, MBA '00, was named public relations director for Tipping Point Communications and leads its new Buffalo office. Eric Eisenried, BS '00, was appointed Buffalo area general manager at North Forest Office Space. Jennifer A. Schulefand, MBA '00, CPA, was appointed CFO specialist at CFO Solutions Plus. Jessica Brosius, BS '01, was named assis- tant vice president and assistant controller at Evans Bank. Timothy Bubar, EMBA '01, CPA, was named prin- cipal at Lumsden McCormick. Mohan S. Devgun, MBA '01, was promoted to chair of the Engineering Technology Department at Buffalo State College, where he is a professor. Brian M. Goldwater, BS '02, was promot- ed to group vice president at M&T Bank, where he serves as assistant general auditor. Jennifer Seth- Cimini, MBA '02, received the Award of Excel- lence for Promot- ing Inclusion and Cultural Diversity from the Office of Inclusion and Cultural Enhancement in the UB Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomed- ical Sciences, where she serves as major gifts officer.
