Alumni Spotlight: Jody L. Lomeo '91 Kevin Connor, EMBA '97, was named managing director at Prism Healthcare Partners Ltd. Rebecca Raczkowski, MBA '97, CIA, was appointed manager of the enterprise risk management department at the Buffalo office of Freed Maxick CPAs. Kathleen M. Flynn, MBA '98, financial advisor at New York Life Insurance Co., was appointed board chairperson for Hearts and Hands, a Western New York nonprofit. Keith Stolzenburg '81, MBA '87, CEL '99, CPA, was appoint- ed managing partner for the Buffalo office of PricewaterhouseCoopers. David Tier '99 is a major in the U.S. Army stationed in Garmisch- Partenkirchen, Germany. He pub- lished an article on national securi- ty titled "The Waning Grand Strategy of Democratization" in the Spring 2014 edition of Connections: The Quarterly Journal. 2000s Hector P. Garrido, MArch/MBA '00, was named an associate at architectural and engineering firm Trautman Associates. Autumn 2014 B B Paul S. Kinsella '86, EMBA '00, was named president and chief operating officer of Exocor Ltd. Samantha Clark '01 was promoted to senior vice president of career development at Alliance Advisory Group. Andrea Ruta Kozlowski, JD/MBA '01, was promoted to administrative vice president and manager of com- pensation and incentive plan governance at M&T Bank. Jamie C. Shrock, MBA '01, was appointed vice president and director of organi- zation develop- ment at CannonDesign. William Wlodarczyk, MBA '01, CPA, was promoted to chief executive officer at Fox Run Orchard Park, a senior living com- munity. David Keenan '02 was promoted to administrative vice president, senior manager in the internal audit department at M&T Bank. Kevin Majchrowicz '02, CPA, CVA, CITP, was pro- moted to princi- pal at Brock, Schechter & Polakoff LLC. Stephen Federico, MBA '03, joined Calspan Corp. as director of facili- ties and construc- tion. Joyce Markiewicz, EMBA '03, was appointed presi- dent and CEO of home and com- munity-based care at Catholic Health. Brooke Cianfichi, BS/MBA '04, was promoted to group manager, administrative vice president for New York City commercial real estate at M&T Bank. With his recent appointment to president and CEO of Great Lakes Health System and Kaleida Health, Jody L. Lomeo '91 took charge of the largest health care provider and private employer in Western New York. Kaleida Health is a $1.2 billion entity made up of four hospitals, two long-term care facilities, Gates Vascular Institute, the Visiting Nurses Association of Western New York and dozens of outpatient, specialty care and labo- ratory centers. Great Lakes Health encompasses Kaleida and the Erie County Medical Center (ECMC), which includes a hospi- tal, nursing home and more than 30 outpatient centers. A Buffalo native, Lomeo now leads more than 13,000 employees to coordinate care across all of these sites.
