This simple statement is what motivates me to connect with youour alumni and friendsto get to know you and hear your stories. We can each give something. And taken together, our gifts have a greater impact than any one of us is likely to make individually. Prizner Paul Johnson When you make a gift to the School of Management, you invest in the futures of our students and the continued success of a business school that has a strong reputation for academic excellence, real-world learning and forward-thinking programs. Because of you, we can offer the best possible education with a worldclass faculty. And the scholarships and fellowships you support put that education within reach of deserving students. Over the past year, we have assembled a group of professionals on the schools development team to propel this vision forward. Tim Paul joined our staff in January 2012 as assistant development officer with a primary focus on developing relationships with alumni along the East Coast. Amy Johnson is our new associate director of development, growing the annual fund and Shareholders Society, and Barbara Mielcarek joined our team as administrative assistant. I am also happy to announce Beth Ranney has been promoted to development coordinator, focusing on stewardship initiatives. There are many opportunities to connect with your alma mater that will impact the lives of todays students. You can offer internships or workplace tours, lend your talents back on campus or take the call when a student contacts you. Every gift of time, talent and treasure truly does countand it is a powerful truth that together, we can achieve more. John S. Prizner III Senior Director of Development Ranney 22 Buffalo Business Spring 2013 Management between July 1, 2011, and June 30, 2012.
